It is time – blog post # 1 – Setting Up!

The idea behind LAVUR was conceived over a glass of red wine, by the sea in the beautiful island of Gozo. It backs the efforts of multiple artists and artisans who have, especially over the last years, embarked on a venture that promotes the re-ignition of Maltese customs and traditions. Our mission is simple: To provide you with a variety of high-quality, handcrafted décor that may also be personalised at the click of a button!

To this end, we have been working very hard, to ensure that we bring you unique, eye-catching and long lasting décor pieces. Inspired by the character of traditional Maltese dwellings, we sketched and designed each item and tile design from scratch. The items, which perfectly merge the old with the new, were then slowly brought to life using the finest materials.

All items produced by LAVUR, from furniture to home accessories are not only created using the best quality materials, but are also the product of outstanding technique and eye for detail. Our carpenter has been working in the industry for more than forty years and our final products are truly a reflection of his craftsmanship.

As a small, local business producing high-quality Made-in-Malta pieces, we proudly brand our products, whilst ensuring that all item designs are respected.
